Pilot Studies and Design

Blaes Environmental evaluates remediation technologies for the site using a combination of remedial feasibility/pilot test methods.  The test methods chosen for each site are tailored to target the specific contaminant(s) on the property.  The feasibility/pilot testing program is designed to produce a measurable reduction of the contaminant(s) during the test or yield data in support of a valid conclusion for each test method.  The test results produce a recommendation for the most technically viable and cost effective method (or methods) to reduce specific contaminants within the subsurface soil and groundwater at the site.

Specific feasibility test services conducted by Blaes Environmental include:

  • Soil Vapor Extraction;

  • Soil Bioventing;

  • Groundwater Air Sparging;

  • Groundwater Ozone Sparging;

  • In-Situ Chemical Oxidation;

  • In-Situ Bioremediation;

  • Dual-Phase/Multiphase Extraction.
